I'm excited that strawberry season has finally hit southern Sweden and my strawberry patch is producing!!! I wasn't sure how it would go since about 3 weeks ago I dug up all of my strawberry plants and placed them on plastic on the lawn while working on the garden area. About 10 days ago I set up boxes and replanted them in chunks with the dirt attached as they were covered with green berries during all of this change. I was afraid that I would lose the crop, but as you can see from yesterday's picking, all is well!
And here is a sneak preview of the garden remodeling...more to come- we'll hopefully be finished with the most of it tomorrow (Monday). Finally!!!
